    Potential MangaPlaza partnerships?
From the success of the MangaPlaza and Manga UP! collaboration, with both services releasing during the same year. It would be great if MangaPlaza could expand its collection by teaming up with other manga licensing companies such as VIZ Manga, ComicWalker and many others!

    Complete
For those who bought the chapters and enjoyed the story after having read them, thinking there might be more because the details box says that it is ongoing, there won't be. This is the whole story right here.

    21st century shoujo
A story about a genuine couple who look out for each other and communicate. Blushing male lead included.

    Childhood friend celebrity
For those of you who enjoyed MangaPlaza titles such as It's Always You or The Boy Out Of My Reach, then this is another one to add to your list.

    a reverse harem
Manga is meant to be fictional. I don't read manga to be reminded of recent events, that is what the news is for.

The best character is the dullahan
Here you have a sweet manga about a professor who everyone loves and monster girls who are gaining more confidence in themselves throughout the story.

    Kouhai
Japanese etiquette would have underclassmen be respectful around their senpai. Yet nagatoro is an intimidating person to spend all your time with at school. Somehow they are friends with a developing romance.

    An inspiring story
Here you have an atypical theme for a shounen manga and art that is unintentionally terrifying, yet it still manages to keep you reading with its elegance.

    Read in full with premium
Most manga that gets licensed and published in English nowadays are the series currently airing in Japanese magazines. Whether they are trying to keep up with the modern era or are just simply thinking that manga from 10 or so years ago is complete and outdated now, well it isn't. So finding manga like this, from the early 2000s is a nice change of pace.

Also has an anime with specials
Let's start this review with an oxymoron: an iyashikei with screaming carrot faces pulled from the ground and owl men that stare. That's right, this is the life of a modern japanese witch that still follows old tradition of completing her training far from her childhood home.

    Still ongoing?
The intrigue behind the small box was the thing that made me fascinated to read this and while the first chapter may not have answered all of my questions, knowing this story is on hiatus will definitely make me wait longer to find out.

    Tsundere girl and dedicated guy
If I find a characters annoying in a shoujo manga then it is typically the male lead. However, the female lead is the one who annoyed me this time. While I'm going to continue this one at some point as Sakura's innocent actions are well worth the read, it would just be better if she was more open with her emotions.

A new way to enjoy an old tale
A classic that can now be enjoyed by a different demographic. Some might say that the original shows that of comic genius and social realism, but I've never quite understood the fascination many have had with this story. While the fashion of this time may seem delicate and different, the overall story seems rather grandiose for my liking.

Gets more credit than it deserves
The reasons I didn't like this include: lack of content (not a lot happens and when it does, it feels boring and slow), character interactions (bickering couples are tiring to read about and the main couple don't do much), not much otaku references (you'll see the odd gaming console here and there but there is more to otaku culture than just that).

This is not a side story
This may be the first time I have ever seen an art book be sold digitally. I find it interesting to see the extra art and concept ideas a mangaka has done for their series, so this is an interesting find.

    Dystopian
Having the read thread of fate on the cover pulled me in only to disappoint me when the ML acts as though he has lost interest in the one whom he is set out to confess to.

    Fake relationship and ongoing
This is one of those series that has been on my radar for a while, but once I decided to give in and give it a go, I eventually lost interest and didn't feel the need to revisit this series.

A bold title for a bad first chapter
While the description says that first impressions don't tell the whole story, I was done with this manga after the first chapter. Anashin has many published works but I just haven't found one from them that ticks all the right boxes.

    Same author as Lovesick Ellie
I have found that in a lot of recent (2020 onward) shoujo manga, delinquents are a common occurrence. Whether they are the ML, a side character or both, this manga is no exception. The first chapter got my attention rather quickly but I soon became disinterested during the second volume.

If you enjoyed Sweeter Than it Looks by Seo Hikaru (a MangaPlaza original) you may enjoy this too! A strawberry sweet romance that you won't be able to put down.
